Jumbo frames are not supported at this time.
Scatter-gather DMA is not supported by the SGDMA or MSGDMA at this time.Scatter-gather DMA will be added to a future maintenance update to thisdriver. Pleasevisit for known, documented SGDMA errata.
The SGDMA supports only a single transmit or receive operation at a time, andtherefore will not perform as well compared to the MSGDMA soft IP. The SGDMA component is to be deprecated in the near future (over the next 1-2years as of this writing in early 2014) in favor of the MSGDMA component.SGDMA support is included for existing designs and reference in case adeveloper wishes to support their own soft DMA logic and driver support. Theprobe function then installs the appropriate set of DMA routines toinitialize, setup transmits, receives, and interrupt handling primitives forthe respective configurations. The driver probe function examines the device tree and determines if theTriple-Speed Ethernet instance is using an SGDMA or MSGDMA component. The sopc2dts tool is used to create thedevice tree for the driver, and may be found at. Quartus 13.1 and 14.0 were used to build the design thatthis driver was tested against. The Triple-Speed Ethernet, SGDMA, and MSGDMA components are all soft IPcomponents that can be assembled and built into an FPGA using the AlteraQuartus toolchain. Support is also available fromthe maintainer of this driver, found in MAINTAINERS. The anticipated usecases are simple communications between an embedded system and an external peerfor status and simple configuration of the embedded system.įor more information visit and Supportforums for the driver may be found on and a design usedto test this driver may be found there as well. The designs used to test thisdriver were built for a Cyclone(R) V SOC FPGA board, a Cyclone(R) V FPGA board, and tested with ARM and NIOS processor hosts separately. The driver uses theplatform bus to obtain component resources. This is the driver for the Altera Triple-Speed Ethernet (TSE) controllersusing the SGDMA and MSGDMA soft DMA IP components. WinDriver’s driver development solution covers PCI, PCI Express, CardBus, CompactPCI, ISA, PMC, PCI-X, PCI-104 and PCMCIA. The WinDriver™ product line has enhanced supports for Altera devices, and enables you to focus on your driver’s added-value functionality, instead of on the operating system internals.
Download Altera drivers or install DriverPack Solution software for driver scan and update. Please help this is my internship project.Altera USB Blaster, USBASP, Disable driver signature enforcement Yes, hello there, I need help, I want to use altera usb blaster for my projects with FPGA, and it seems the driver is saying 'device descriptor request failure'.
Install USBASP driver and my pc once got reinstalled so all the data and driver was cleared, and I can't even install my USBASP again, I've tried to boot the windows installer that is installed to my flash drive, and try repair my pc option but there's no startup
That is turn of your pc, there's no troubleshoot to go to startup settings to disable driver signature enforcement, I've doing that before when I was installing my USBASP for AT MEGA 16 driver, I need to disabled the driver signature enforcement in order to I've installed the quartus, and tried to disable driver signature enforcement by going to advanced option by holding shift and restart or even on the recovery settings by clicking restart now under the advanced option, but after that there's just one option Yes, hello there, I need help, I want to use altera usb blaster for my projects with FPGA, and it seems the driver is saying "device descriptor request failure"
